I am in Phoenix this weekend for a work function. Having never been to Phoenix, I took some free time this afternoon to walk. I basically headed towards Camelback Mountain and enjoyed the scenery. I had my camera and took lots of pictures. Of course, I lost track of how far I had walked and was surprised when I walked back. I think in total, I walked more than 4 miles, and although it was hot, it didn't feel so bad because, of course, it was a dry heat.
Not only are the mountains different but so is the plantlife. There are a lot of huge cacti as well as palm trees and interesting flowers. I also like some of the lines and reflections I see in the architecture. I hope to get out and walk more tomorrow morning.
