I had a productive morning at work this morning. As soon as I got in, I was working hard and was able to accomplish quite a bit. So I took an early morning break to check out the magnolia tree near the National Geographic Building. They have two massive magnolia trees which must be decades old and stand as tall as the building themselves. I can tell that it is starting to bloom as there are some blossoms high up. Much to my delight, I found two lovely blooms fairly low on the tree. I was nearly in the tree, between the branches, taking pictures of these two blossoms. I'm sure some of the people rushing to work thought I was a bit odd.
When I got back, I took a quick look at the photos and realized that I have some dust on my sensor (again). The photos are so good, that I think I will see if the "Dust Off Reference" works. I know there is always tomorrow to take more pictures, but these blooms were so nice that I hate to lose them.
