So the rest of the 4th of July was fairly laid back. My husband and I went to Baltimore's Inner Harbor for lunch. I snapped a few of the large ships and a couple flowers and plants that I saw. We left there, stopped by the house, and went to pick up our son at the Univ. of Maryland where he was attending a robotics/computer camp. They had a parent presentation where they showed off what they did during the week.
Between our trips to Baltimore and College Park, we stopped at the house to pick up our swimming stuff. I had put bird seed in the feeder that morning, and obviously the birds and squirrels knew. What surprised me was that a chipmunk was in the feeder up in the tree. We were able to approach quite close and see how fast his heart was beating and how full his cheeks were. He finally jumped off the feeder and ran up the tree. (I never saw a chipmunk in a tree before).
