How did it get to be September 10th already? I haven't done a lot with the camera, but I have neglected to document anything I've done here. Here are the highlights:
1. The Challenge
As I was heading out for a break from work, a colleague and I were chatting. He had worked at the American Institute of Architects and pointed out a church whose architecture was significant and therefore could not be renovated. It is a big block of concrete. He challenged me to take an interesting picture of this structure.
Tropical Storm Hanna came through last weekend and brought some rain. It was probably less than two inches where we lived, although areas not far from us received several inches more. Without getting wet, I tried to see if the wet leaves on the back deck were interesting.
3. This week's bouquet.
I bought yet another bouquet of flowers from Trader Joes. This one is particularly beautiful with lovely red roses and bright yellow gerberas with a hint of red. I couldn't resist working on the kitchen table one night.
