Today was a beautiful indian summer day. It is November 8, yet the temperature peaked above 70 degrees. It was sunny and we had all of our windows open. My husband and I decided to take a walk down by the reservoir. I knew that it is that time of year when the holly berries begin to turn red.
We found several trees, but some of them didn't have berries. After walking around the far side of the reservoir, we found a few. I had to walk among the brambles, but found that the light was shining on them and there was absolutely no wind. Perfect conditions. I had my monopod as it was easier to manuever, but in some ways the tripod might have been better.
I found some other interesting berries and tthings to photograph. It was just such a beautiful day.
