Last week at this time, I was in Boston at the American Chemical Society's fall national meeting. Most of my time was very busy with work related events, but I did manage to get out and about on Saturday and Sunday for short periods of time. I suppose that was a good thing, since it started raining on Sunday and didn't stop until after I left.
Being fans of public transportation, my sons and I had Charlie cards and used the T whenever we could. Some of the stations had beautiful mosaics or other artwork. Sadly, they were not well lit, although I think the camera was able to catch some of the wonderful colors.
On Sunday we went to church at this Chapel in the Hynes Center Mall. I really like how the shadows contrast with the stained glass cross.
I spent most of my time at the meeting was spent at the hotel adjacent to or in the Boston Convention and Exposition Center.
Finally, here is a picture of my younger son in front of a some props at the ChemLuminary poster session.
